Several times recently, after logging in to the PagePlus web site
to see how much (or how little) of my latest $10 is still there, I
click the [My Account] link (URH area) but get only this error message:
Error
com.pagepluscellular.trail.ws.exception.CustomerAc countTransactionServiceException
Sorry, we have encountered an error. Please try again. If you continue to
have problems please contact customer service. Thank you.
Retrying does no good. Any ideas? Thanks. Cheers, -- tlvp

An hour after your success, success for me, as well.
Any idea what gremlins may have been at play earlier?

Did you contact customer service as instructed? I doubt very much that
posting here is going to get any useful result!

It's PagePlus. Calling their CS about a website problem will almost be
as helpful as calling your travel agent about it.
PP's website is occasionally glitchy. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yup. No return contact from them yet, though. No matter: it cleared up.

Wasn't seeking "useful result" -- was seeking "ideas". Got some too, thanks

Return contact *has* come in, as follows: "our website performs maintenance
updates between midnight and 3AM Eastern Standard Time. During website
updates you will not be able to log in and view your online account."
Pretty much explains it all. Cheers, -- tlvp

LOL.
Contacting them via their website about an issue is equally hopeless.
I asked them how much roaming is because in one place their web site
states "when roaming does occur, you will be charged $.29 per minute
regardless of your service plan," but if you look at each plan the
roaming charges show $0.29 only for the standard plan and the other
plans are all $0.59.
Their answer was "Thank you for your email. When roaming does occur, you
will be charged $.29 per minute regardless of your service plan."

PP has occasional hiccups with their website, and they still have a
few bugs in it. Have you ever noticed when you add a standard refill
PIN, the first confirmation screen that comes up shows the new balance
with the OLD expiration date? It's not until you get back to the
summary screen that the correct expire date is displayed. I wouldn't
worry too much about it.

No, I've seen error messages pop up like that during different times
of the day, and I usually add my refills between midnight and 3AM ET
on the date they are to expire. So, while it may explain some of it
(and may explain your experience), it certainly doesn't explain all
their site problems.

What's to fix? Their reply shows that that one page with the "regardless of
your service plan" disclaimer fixes everything, all in one swell foop :-) .

Thanks, Gen'r'l, I'll pay it no mind then.
