Default RAZR

Is there a keyboard code to force the Verizon Razr to search for another
carrier like on other phones? I am sometimes in an area where the phone gets
a signal, but the cell site cannot hear the phone so I cannot connect. I
would be nice to get the phone to search for an "extended network" when this
happens.
Or am I just hallucinating again?
Thanks

Because when I find my way to work, everything appears normal. Monday thru
Thursday is where it should be!

Try going to the system settings and change the network from Automatic A (or
to Automatic B (or A).
