They took down the Alltel sign about 2 weeks ago and put up the hated
Verizon V over our Alltel office....then, promptly covered that with a
plastic bag with our beloved Alltel logo on it. When the system is
assimilated by the Borg, like the NC Triangle has been, we'll all get
the incessant *228 PRL "upgrade" message to screw us over to VZW, losing
coverage in many parts of the city and surrounding countryside. Walmart
at Oakbrook section of Summerville will become a DEAD ZONE, again, I
suspect....

I dread the day but it approaches like a Borg Cube, unstoppable.

We have a little watch group keeping an eye on the Alltel main store.
We want to see if the comfortable swivel chairs we've all enjoyed since
the store moved into these digs will be ELIMINATED by the Borg, who
force even the infirmed to STAND or LEAVE at Verizon stores.....

That will be the key to our dread......loss of seating to discuss our
accounts. Only the employees sit on their asses at Verizon Wireless!

Actually, Larry, there is. Some of us aren't going along on the VZW
expedition, at least not yet. We're to continue on as Alltel through
the divestiture process, which could take a while.

Not his style. He gets his jollies trolling groups where he isn't an actual customer of the
company being discussed. VZW is only one example. He also likes to bash Comcast
and does the exact same troll there as well. Who knows how many more....

It's incredible to me that everyone hasn't killfiled him, what reason
could there be for not doing so and, worse, why do people continually

Such nice language, and use of that is usually due to the fact you
have been backed into a corner and can think of no other witty or
sophisticated comeback, so you just resort to profanity.

Your trite reply also doesn't address all the INCORRECT information
you've spouted here either. Like my cat, when you leave a mess on the
