Well, here's mine, in Denver, if you are interested.

Taxes, Governmental Surcharges and Fees
Thornton City 911 Surchg .70
CO State Sales Tax 3.31
Adams Cnty Sales Tax .86
Thornton City Sales Tax 4.28
Local Spd Tax (Rtd/Cd/Fd) 1.37
Total 10.52.

There's another $2.00 on my other Family Share line for the same stuff,
bringing my total to about $12.00.

Wow. You are getting killed by city, county, and state sales
tax! As far as I can tell, the 8 charges in my Silicon Valley
California bill do not include sales tax, but without them still
add up to 15% of the Verizon bill. Sales tax rate here is 8.25%
by the way.
