Yep. I've been saying all along that the prolifiration of free Internet
access all over the country (hotels, coffee houses, car washes,
restaurants, etc.) will eventually require that the wireless carrier prices
come down. Eventually. I still belive this will happen in the next couple of
years. We'll see.
Oh... about Starbucks... did you hear? I read Starbucks have recently make
a new agreement with AT&T to provide free Internet access in their stores.
Supposed to come about near the end of the year. I used to have a $29/mo
T-mobile data account specifically for this purpose, before buying VZW's
$60/mo tethering plan.
