Big problem- AFAIK, Verizon won't let you do that!

Verizon gives a discount on the aircard's data plan ($59 instead of $79?)
if you also have a phone on the same account, I believe, but two devices
can't share a single data plan.

It would probably be cheaper to get a data plan for your Treo that allows
you to plug your PC into the Treo and use the phone as a modem. That
eliminates the need for the aircard and a second data plan.

Would that be as fast transferring data?

Depends on the phone. I use GSM EDGE, not CDMA EVDO, so the following
doesn't apply directly (but the concept does.)

GSM data devices come in "classes" each higher class being faster than
lower classes. My MDA (PPC phone) is a "class 10" device, a little
slower than the class 12 aircards, which, IIRC, have a higher uplink
speed but the same downlink speed.

I'm sure the aircard is probably a bit faster, but if unlimited data
through the Treo costs half of what the aircard costs, it might be worth
it.
