Default Ringtones - phone ringing

Question:

Greetings from the Green Mountain State of Vermont !

I just got a new Verizon Motorola 'Motorazr Maxx Ve. The ringtones are not
so good. Is there a site where I can go to download ringtones that sound
like a phone ringing - no songs - no music - just an ordinary sound of a
phone ringing. The phone is nice, but the ringtones are not so nice! Any
help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Manchester VT, Great place! I go there often to shop.
You can download from your cell phone through Get it Now, or you can do a
Google search to find Free Ringtones.
However you may find that some free places on the web will actually have a
charge in the fine print.

go to http://www.google.com and check around.

The "free ringtones" business is a minefield of scammers. I think I hear
a horror story a week how someone had to cancel their credit card
because they couldn't get the monthly charge for the "free ringtones"
stopped or how they couldn't get the frequent textmessage spam to their
phone stopped because you have to give them your number to get the
ringtones.

I wound up using the phone to record another phone ringing, then setting
that as my ring tone. I wasn't able to find one single "ring-tone" to buy,
borrow or steal anywhere. Lot's of music, no ringing.

Perhaps you could ask your ultra liberal VT politicians to pass some
legislation that would require private enterprise to provide you some for
free-- or at taxpayer expense.....
