Default Susteen Datapilot lack of support

I am trying to use the Datapilot transfer suite with a bluetooth
connection on a Nokia 2366i phone. The install had a couple of
glitches but still, I was able to sync contacts and calendar
appointments a couple of times. Then, every time I start the computer,
a box tells me there is new hardware on the computer and the
installation wizard comes up to install the bluetooth lap modem. But
the bluetooth driver was already installed and actually worked a
couple of times. Reinstallation now produces a new error message
15003, that the phone cannot be detected. It advises to pair the
phone. But it is already paired.

Leaving 'tickets' the Susteen support area produces nothing but
automated answers telling me to do what I have already done.

The product is not worth the price given the complete lack of support.

Ron

Susteen software is now, and has always been, complete garbage.

Use BitPim.

I actually picked up this software for free after rebate at
Frys.com a couple of weeks ago. It comes with a bunch of USB
phone cables, including one for my LG VX5300. Can I take that
cable to use the phone as a modem and with BitPim? I don't need
to use their software.

Absolutely. The cables should work just fine with Bitpim.

Great, so it was worth buying, after all. It also backs up
ipods, which seems like a really strange combination of
functions to me.
