Text messaging delays??

Anyone notice text delays or not sent messages over the last few days?
I sent my daughter a message yesterday about picking her up earlier
than originally planned, she got it 10 mintes AFTER i picked her up.
Same thing with my wife, about an hour delay. Also haven't goten some
replies from friends and they haven't gotten some of our texts, others
an hour + delay.

The only time I noticed text delays when was I was roaming onto
non-Verizon networks. Often I would not get the messages until I was
back in Verizon territory.
