Verizon Wireless XV6700 free WIFI???

Hi have a question, Did anybody get free WIFI intenet connection using
the Verizon Wireless XV6700 phone without having an internet plan only
the voice plan? The other question using the same phone with a data
plan, if you are in a forgien country per say and have no Verison
intetnet available, will you be able to connect to the intenet witn
the XV6700 using WIFI? Thanks in advance, Ray
