anyone who is still using itunes and a droid in the year 2110 will have
far bigger problems than being incompatible with a product that is just
a rumour in 2009.

Default Verizon's Motorola Droid is Crippled In the U.S.--No Multitouch

Welcome to the 2010 world of hurt with Google's Droid and Verizon
marketing.

Even the exact same Droid will have different features on different
carriers!
Will you buy into that foolishness?

Verizon's Droid will lack multi-touch while others will have it. How
can a Droid developer now write great apps like they do for the
iPhone?

Verizon's Droid will not do turn by turn Google maps while you are
talking and driving. Who cares if ou miss your turn in heavy traffic
due to an untimely call?

Verizon's Droid will not allow you to search the web for a place to
eat while talking to your workmates about a business meetup.

Verizon's Droid is extremely sluggish at times in simple things like
scrolling, changing windows etc.

Verizon's Droid has built in room for 512MB of app storage and can
run only six apps at anyone time. Think of the pain of Windows moblie
here when you forget and try to open the seventh app.

Verizon's Droid will be incompatible with the new USA iTunes virtual
'cable box', a major bummer in 2110.

Verizon's Droid is incompatible with all the online college courses at
iTunes U, a major bummer now if you are of college years.

Verizon, the nations largest overrated network with crippled phones
now has the crippled Droid.

Verizon needs to rewrite that iDon't commercial to get the word out.,
they clearly own their very own Android killer.

Yes with Verizon you get just one finger with a new Droid...

and I bet many can guess which one that is without hitting the link at

Is this FUD ;>)
Certainly, but it is all true!

Sure beats the hell out of having a 3G map that looks like this:

EDGE is like connecting your iphone to an old dialup BBS!...(c;]

Duhh.....

I don't give a shit if it has the power of a Cray mainframe, the graphics
of a workstation at Dreamworks and 10TB of storage. If it doesn't have 3G
internet....IT SUCKS!

So weren't you, for a short period not too long ago, a Verizon customer,
and didn't you fire them because you were only getting 30 kbps download
speeds in one of the reddest states on the map on the page above?

How quick we forget. I'd take EDGE over 30 kbps 3G any day.

Nope....I was an ALLTEL customer that The Borg screwed on unlimited
internet which mysteriously, the day The Borg assimilated, dropped from
800Kbps to 70Kbps for ALLTEL UNLIMITED CUSTOMERS....to show them how
much The Borg loved them.

I'm a Cricket EVDO Rev A customer, now. Unlimited service is $40/mo for
about the same 800Kbps I was getting from ALLTEL, not The Borg. In
Charleston, SC, now all the way South to Hilton Head and Savannah, GA as
the map keeps filling in....Cricket provides really good broadband to
the few of us on the system (that's a feature for customers, not
corporations).

As I have no contract and the $50 modem price was rebated back after 45
days, it's cheap and works quite well in Cricket's footprint.

Sellphone, on the other hand, is on The Borg's big combined
system....but at a much cheaper rate than The Borg wants from Page Plus
Cellular. What little I use it, now that I'm retired, 5.3c/min with no
Borg funny business and funny addon fees works very well for me. It
solid triangle roams onto Alltel where The Borg used to refuse their
customers service in the holes The Borg has around here. They show no
signs of taking down the Alltel system towers, allowing them to
roam....or at least me to roam....onto them in the Dead Zones. Page
Plus' PRL is 51618 and I find little data about it. Do you know any URL
that has a readout of 51618?

How quick we forget when we're screwed......NOT.

EVDO broadband doesn't croak when you buy data from one company and
sellphone service from another when you get a call, especially when your
modem is on 1900 Mhz and your sellphone is on 850 Mhz....(c;]
