Verizonwireless bought Unicel (Rural cellular)

Since then my signal quality went into the toilet. Aren't they using the
same Unicel towers?

Were you a Verizon customer or a Unicel customer before the merger?
And if you were a Unicel customer is your phone a CDMA phone or
a GSM phone?

I was Unicel. Current Verizon phone is CMDA, don't know what Unicel
was. Both are LG phones, old one LG1400, new one LG 8360.
