voice mail issue

I live in the North East and often send voice mail directly to other VZW
users via the voice mail system. It's a great feature.

For the last few weeks though every time I go to send a voice mail to
someone 5 hours later I get an error saying the could not be delivered.
Plus these same people when they leave me voice mail I get a computer
recording of their phone number not them saying their name.

When I call them and I go to voice mail I have no issues.

They are still with VZW. I have done *228 since VZW seems to suggest
that for all issues.

I've had this happen in the past and called tech support and nothing
happens. In a few months this issue disappears. They say the issue is
the other persons end but can't look into it (which I understand). My
friends call and support says it's my fault which makes a wonderful loop.


I'm just wondering if others have this issue and what they've done to
fix it or have tips to deal with support.

I had this problem last year and it is an easy
fix. Just call up Vzw customer service and ask them to "reset
your voicemail." I explained the situation, they reset it, and
it has worked fine ever since.

I wish it was that simple. I called today. They deleted my voice mail
feature. Then readded it.

I'm still having the issue.

I'm going to call back in the morning.
