Have had the VX8300 for a few months. This is actually the 3rd one that I
have had. The first TWO had horrible reception problems even when the
firmware was updated. This 3rd one is much better. It is version 3. New
problem now though. Bought an Infiniti FX35 recently. Phone pairs with it
ok but 50% of the time I have trouble. Normally when you're on a bluetooth
call the car radio will go silent. About half the time the radio comes back
on when the call seems to making its' connection. What's interesting is
that the party on the receiving end can hear me and my car radio but I can't
hear them! It's a one way transmission only. Now my wife has a Motorola
E815 that is also paired with the Infiniti and this issue hasn't arisen when
she drives the car. Talked to the dealer yesterday and they seem to think
that the problem is with the LG. If you go to
http://www.infiniti.com/bluetooth you'll see that the LG VX8300 is NOT one
of the listed compatible phones but her E815 is.
So my questions are if you agree that it is probably the phone. Is there
something we can do about it with an update? If not, is there a phone on
that Infiniti web page that you'd recommend that has similar features to the
LG? Ebay could be the next stop for this LG!!
Thanks in advance,
Kenny
