Just purchased a Treo 700p from a private party, to be shipped to me soon.
I'm curious about data plans at VZW. Because I bought the 700p primarily to
be used as a PDA/Phone combination, and only occasionally as an email and
Web device, I was wondering if there are *limited* VZW data plans. When I
called VZW a few minutes ago, I was told I could get the unlimited data
plan by just adding $40 to my existing $39.99 voice plan. When asked if
there was a *limited* package (like so many dollars for so many megabytes),
I was told the only other alternative was $0.002 per kb which carried with
it other data charges not included in the per kb charge, so it would add up
quickly.

From what verizon told me there is also two more plans in-between
paying per kb and unlimited. I can't remember what the amount of
transfer was. I believe one was $25 and one was $35.
