There have been no messages on either alt.cellular.Motorola or
alt.cellular.verizon for several days!

Is something broken? Or is it just that nobody can think of anything to
say?

There have been plenty in the verizon group

Indeed - who cares about proprietary crapple, except of course when people
want to ramp up sales... The classic was when the iPhone came out. You
could already buy Nokia and other makes with the 3G and wi-fi that the
iPhone lacked for half the money.

I'm still trying to figure out why I'd want one *instead* of a good
netbook. I can't see walking around with an iPad in my hands. I'm not a
big fan of on-screen keyboards.

Blasphemous as it may seem, there are people who couldn't care less
about owning an iPad. If you find it useful enough to pay what it costs
to own/operate then more power to ya!

Strange as it may seem, there was life before computers! There was life
before personal computers! There was life before laptops, before palm
tops . . . . Next year . . . . IMPLANTS!!!!!
