Default Display Issues--New Homebuilt Machine--Your Help Is Appreciated!

Hello, I am having a pretty frustrating issue with a new Gigabyte
motherboard. I built an entire system on NewEgg, as specified below.
For some reason, cannot figure out why absolutely NOTHING will display
on the screen, despite fresh, brand new parts and OEM stuff. Pretty
high quality parts, but, sucks when you can't take advantage of them
due to no display!

Just as a run down, we have attempted to flash the bios/CMOS reset, and
are quite positive the display (monitors) are working we are trying to
use.

No beeps come from the system.

Please, please help! Am anxious to use my new machine!

There are a couple possibilities.

1) You forgot to connect the 2x2 ATX12V power connector. If that
is missing, the CPU has no power, and with no operating CPU,
you cannot get any beep codes.

2) The usual socket AM2 RAM problems with DDR2. Unplug the computer
and pull all RAM sticks. Power up. Do you get the beep code for
missing RAM ? Unplug and install one stick of RAM. If you get
total silence, it is just another incompatible DDR2 versus AM2
problem.

HTH,
Paul

Remove & replace your graphics card. (NOT with a new card:-) Do the
same with your IDE ribbons (all of them) as a bad contact can make you
VERY unhappy. If you are seeing no life at all in LED's or
keyboard.......you have no power.
