emachine T1125 fails on boot ???

Ive got emachine t1125 that starts to boot and comes up with black
screen that says not properly shut down and gives several options as
last known working boot down to safe mode
I go to safe mode and i get a black screen with purple word safe mode
in bottom of screen but nothing i can check for peramiters of the comp
set up .
Ive tried F8 and get same thing ... i cant even get to boot sequence

HELP where do i start now
