I am looking to buy an external hard drive to do daily back ups but I will
be doing twice weekly back ups on to DVD. I only want a small capacity so 80
gb more than enough even allowing for future needs. Doesn't need to be small
as will sit in the some place day after day. However just need something
simple plug in and away I go.
Any tips appreciated?
Also how fast would it copy on USB2 per Gb from PC to the hard drive.
The PEAK transfer rate for USB 2 is 480 Mbps. The continuous rate is much
lower.
