Default Flash drive with paswword write protection, is there any on the market???

Hello

It seems that there is no pendrive with password write protection for whole
drive. I don't meen protecting private partition which does almost avery
pendrive but whole drive. I've got an old USB1.1 64MB pendrive of unknown brand
and it has it!!! It's based on old Sonix chip (www.sonix.com.tw) but there are
other pendrives for shure. Does anyone knows a product that offers this thing
and has USB2.0?

This is the only usb drive that I've seen that purports to have
hardware-based security:

https://www.ironkey.com

I'm not vouching for it, though. Hopefully the tweakers will dissect
one like they did for the Securestick:

Thanks , intresting. It would be enough to use some kind of epoxy and keep
password on MCU or even flash, combined with AES and it would be much more
secure LOL
