Default Insurance Prices... Killer?

What are your guy's opinions on insurance prices these days? Why do
you guys think the insurance prices are sky rocketed for even
younger people that drive newer cars?

Not relevant to this newsgroup, but I was amazed at how cheap
mine is, just $100 for full comprehensive insurance on a new car.

They are the ones with the higher accident rate.

And those cost more because the accident is so
often a writeoff with modern crumple zones etc.

Watch how young people behave and it should be fairly obvious

One highly noted actuary for an insurance company stated it this
way: All youngsters know is how to play games on computers and
crashing cars in computer game simulations has little consequence.
It is different in real life. Based on the rate gamers who crash
cars in car simulation games, their higher rates to cover their
driving on paved streets and highways are justified. Moreover, the
slicker and faster the cars they drive along with all of the mods
also mean higher repair or salvage costs. <:-}}

If this is true then we should also have nothing to worry
about from terrorists, alien mutants, or even Donkey Kong
attacking the people. So, it's a fair trade-off to get this
extra protection even if they don't join the military.
