Default Intel D945GTP + Pentium D 935

I've getting ready to rebuild a box using an Intel D945GTP board with a
Pentium D 935 CPU. I've made the assumption that since the Intel website
says that board supports the Pentium D that it'll support the 935. However,
when you look at the list of supported processors (link below), it excludes
the 935.

http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/tp/tp_proc.htm

It shows compatibility with the 915, 925 and 945 ... why would the 935 be
any different?

Maybe it takes the "Testing Department" 3 months to test new product ?
They cannot list something, until they've tried it. They're Intel
after all. Only the other motherboard companies can afford bad press
coverage.

I don't understand why they can't keep their site updated. It works as I
suspected.
