Interference on Acer AL1916W

Hi,

I have a the above mentioned screen and have the following system:

AMD Athlon XP2400+
WD 80Gig hardrive
Toshiba 250 external drive
1 gig of ram
Nvidia Tornado GeForce 4 MX agp4
Ubuntu Linux workstation

I'm getting a problem of what seems to be hundreds of small horizontal
lines moving vertically down the screen. It looks like interference of
some sort. Does any one have any ideas of what it might be?

What happens if you boot XP ?

You can boot PE by using the Ultimate Boot CD 4 Win.
