KDS Valiant 6480CiPTD New Battery Charging Problems

Hello,

I bought on eBay a great condition KDS Valiant 6480CiPTD. The only
thing missing was a battery.
So the first thing i did was get a battery for it, also on eBay. I got
the battery put it into the laptop and left it overnight to charge. In
the morning when i decided to go to my local coffee shop and surf the
net. The Battery lasted a small 15mins!!! I know this is not normal.
When I went home I plugged it back in and turned it on, In 10 Mins. it
said the battery was fully charged at 100%. I have no clue to what
could be the problem. Please Help!!!

Specs of the KDS:

800Mhz PIII Processor
512 MB of PC 133 Ram
Windows XP Pro SP2
14.1 XVGA TFT Panel
12 Volt 4000mAh Battery [New fr. China]

Sounds like a bad battery to me.

battery for a working one.\
