Default Knowledge on desktop boards

Hi!

Sorry to post such a long question. I need to understand every aspect
of desktop boards and would like experts give answers to the following.
There would be many more people like me who would be curious to know
these answers and this post will help them as well. It would be better
if somebody an make a webpage out of it and post it somewhere where
everybody would understand in and out of desktop boards.

Question1:
What is the difference between Intel 945G and Intel 945P chipset and
which one is the best in terms of performance and technology?

Question2:
What is the difference between ATX, Micro ATX, Micro BTX and picoBTX
form factors and which one is the best in terms of performance and
technology?

Question3:
What is Dual Channel memory slot?

Question4:
What is digital optical out connector (coaxial, optical)?

Question5:
What is S/PDIF and what is 5-stack

Question6:
What is the difference between Intel 82562G 10/100 LAN support,
10/100/1000 Mbit/sec and Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbits/sec) LAN subsystem
using the Intel 82566DC Gigabit Ethernet Controller?

Question7:
What is PCI Express x16 and PCI Express x1?

Question8:
What is 2 routed as x8, 1 as x4 and 1 x16, 1 x16/x4

Question9:
What do they mean by four additional interfaces available with optional
discrete RAID controller?

Question10:
What is SATA?

Question11:
What is PATA?

Question12:
What is the difference between ATA-100, SATA 300 and SATA II 300

Question13:
What is TPM 1.2 and ST Micro TPM?

Question14:
What is Intel Matrix Storage Technology?

Question15:
What is Intel Active Management Technology?

Question16:
What is 04B, 05A and 05B performance and what is vreg support?

Guess the school hasn't gotten around to teaching the meaning of the
term "Internet search engine" yet.
