Laptop A30 beeping sound, then no boot

This happened spontaniously. Basically, I was writing a letter,
minimized then, then opened winamp, but once I instantly double clicked
it, a blue screen popped up, stating 'windows has crashed' After I
reboot, I get a BIOS beeping code, 1 long, 3 short (then 3 short again,
then 1 long). I currently have no clue on what type of BIOS (I'm
assuming Intel Thinkpad...)

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm assuming IBM since you mentioned ThinkPad.
