I have the LX7 mouse. Batteries last a long time and it's not too big for
my hand. I gave up on wireless keyboards because they couldnt recharge and
the battery ran out too fast, but maybe they have fixed the battery issue.

It depends on what you need in a keyboard and mouse... USB
or PS2, shape, size, color, battery type (rechargable for
mouse or not), expense, etc. Then there's keyboard feel
(shallow laptop style keys or deeper traditional), etc, etc.

You should go to a store and try a few to find what suits
your hands the most.

EX 110
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...ONTENTID=10850

I have used this one in a dual boot XP/SUSE config. Do I recommend it?
I don't know.. it's pretty cheap... not the best out there.

I currently favor corded just because I hate having my mouse go out in
the middle of a game.

I also have and old Cordless Freedom Pro:

(can't buy it anymore... it's ok... again... it's a cordless... which
I'm not sure I like anymore)

Mine lasts a long time, something like a year or so.

Corse they have.

Doesnt happen with the best Logitech cordless mice.

They have so much warning of the battery needing charging that
you can continue to use it all day when it starts warning and can
just charge it when you stop using the PC that evening etc.

You should try a current one, they're fine.

The EX110 mouse, relative to other Logitech mice, is fairly
power hungry, lacks a battery indicator LED, and has a
fairly low resolution. IOW, there are several other
Logitech mice that are better for gaming, particularly the
newest generation of laser mice (but even then, the corded
alternatives are still a bit snappier for fast paced games).
