Default MP3 to cd WMA ?

HCan anyone recommend some software for converting mp3 files to play on
normal cd players that wont play mp3?

nero will convert it when you select make audio c.d.

there are programs that convert file formats, i found db music converter
pretty good.

amaroK with the formatconverter script (get the script from
http://www.kde-apps.org)

Also, you could try k3b (http://www,k3b.org). It's mainly a cd burning GUI
(the best one for Linux), but it has menus that can directly recode them to
raw data and burn them in an old-fashioned audiocd that you can play in
your older cd player, or whatever


In both cases, you'll probably need flac and lame installed as backends
(google them)

CDex is easy to use. EAC (Exact Audio Copy) is free and a bit more
complicated. Sony Soundforge is a professional program.

Most audio editors (that support MP3) will do that, but it's
not WMA you're wanting, it's WAV.
