I do have norton antivirus enabled in the background, yes i've done all
those scans several times. All online games are the same, when i start
playing, the USB and Activity green lights on the speedsream 5200 will
start flickering. And i havent updated my DSL drivers, if you think
that would help, could you tell me how? And also when i go to DSL
CheckUp Center, i get this error message saying "An error as occured in
the script of this page. Automation server can't create object. Do
you want to continue running scripts on this page?" And i tried both
yes and no, nothing. I've tried opening my firewalls while playing, it
helped a little in the beginning, but when i would start to run(in the
game) It would go on the fritz again. And i believe there isnt
anything else running in the background unless its hidden somewhere.
But i did update my subscription for Norton antivirus in towards the
begining of this month, i don't think that could have affected
anything. But thanks for ur help so far guys.
Ah, i almost forgot. This happens rarely, maybe twice a week or so,
when I'm on the internet or on AIM, the DSL green light on my
speedstream 5200 cuts off, and everything i'm doing stops responding.
It happens at the worst possible moments too. It will turn back on in
maybe 10-15min. And yes, i just got some windows updates, havent
installed them yet, because they came just recently.
