Default Notebook 64 bit technology

Hello everybody.
According to you, which is the notebook with 64 bit processor(athlon,
turion, emt64 etc) , that guarantees the best performances in absolute on
the international market?
P.s I would not have interest to play with it.

An opinion on the processor scene , but in particular on
specific notebook, if is possible...any suggestion is good for me ..

Processor is easy AMD64 all the way.

At present, Linux or Windows XP Pro x64 are the only operating systems
suitable for notebooks. Both have difficulties with finding device
drivers for printers, scanners, etc. One of the advantages of a 64bit
OS is the ability to access more memory. Notebooks are limited in the
amount of memory that can be installed, so I wonder if a 64bit OS is useful.

The AMD Athlon seems to be better in terms of cost/performance.

do you tell me about Turion? is better than athlon?
