Opinions on best [ pc to pc ] program

Looking for opinions on going pc to pc software programs.

I have used the windows one I just wondered if there was a better one
out there..... not one that has a complicated setup.

The windows one seems to really drag my pc down .... and its a very new
and fast pc so not sure why.

What is "going pc to pc software program"?

Do you mean some odd substitute for normal networking, or
something that saves and transfers user settings when you
abandon an old system in favor of a new one, or ???

It could depend a lot on what, exactly, you need to do.

You should elaborate a LOT more on what you mean.

A program just like windows remote assistance ........... one that you
can get into a friends pc 5000 miles away and fix it for them.

Symantec makes one called "PCAnywhere" but it too seems very
sluggish when being used over an internet, let alone
dial-up, connection. Usually it is the obvious,latency and
bitrate limits that are the cause.
