1) Can anyone recommend an active usenet group that discusses video
encoding and/or DVD authoring? (alt.video looks like a dud.)
I'm looking for such a group to post this question:
2) I'm using TMPEGEnc 3.0 Express to encode video to a DVD ready format.
In some instances, the audio gets out of sync from the video. How can
I control or avoid this problem?
I know these questions are tangential at best, but I know there are some
people in here that have had some experience with this.

Thanks for the tip -- there was even a recent thread that directly
addressed my issues.
