P4C800 Deluxe S/PDIF problem

I simply cannot get 5.1 channel output via the S/PDIF output. It's
connected to my Yamaha RX530-RDS through the digital S/PDIF input.
Everything is setup on my computer to play 5.1 surround sound, and the
AC3 filter is selected to output to S/PDIF.

Please help!
