On the screenshot page:
1. Bottom Left shows Pagefile.SYS on C: & system managed size (default)
2. Bottom Middle shows Pagefile.SYS on D: and No Paging File
These contradict each other. It seems:
1a. Drive (top window) should be selected D:
2a. Size should be selected as you wish, but not No Paging File
(pref. System Managed Size (default.))
If your PC is configured as #2, any PAGEFILE.SYS on either drive
is a nonfunctional relict of an earlier cofiguration (as its date will
confirm.)
If in your shoes I would (ensure System Restore is turned on and)
configure as #2a, then remove any Pagefile.SYS on either drive, then reboot.
