Problem with New Video Card

My system currently has a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256mb PCI video card
that I use to power a 19" Viewsonic at 1600x1200. However, I bought a
larger LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1900x1200. The FX5500
cannot support this so purchased a Biostar AGP Gforce 6800 series card
with 256mb. However, I get nothing with this card. I'm worried that
the card is not compatible with my mother board.
Is there some jumper setting I need to do with the mother board? Leadtek
K7NCR18D Pro II. I have noticed that The MB AGP says it 32 bit, while
the Video card I believe is 128bit. Is this the problem? If so, any
suggestions on an nVidia AGP card the will work for my purposes?

The Video card 128 bit is the memory buss on the card and has no
relation to the PCI Buss width of 32 bits. The card should work just fine.

The video card's internal bus has no bearing on the
motherboard busses.

It should work, I'd wonder if your PSU is beefy enough.
What make, model and wattage is it? I'd tend to suspect
insufficient amperage on the 12V rail, if you have a
multmeter take voltage readings.

You might also try unplugging AC and clearing CMOS on the
motherboard. Are you sure the video card works? I mean did
you get it new from a reliable source? Is there an
alternate way to test it (another system with known adequate
PSU)? Did you plug in it's aux power connector if so
equipped (though IIRC, they will run without it, and display
a warning that they're running at a lower speed because it
isn't plugged in).

Is it possible you dislodged something else while installing
the video card? Recheck all cards, cables, memory, etc.

Thanks for the replies. Got it to work. I needed power to the Video
Card. I found the power input on the VC. The manual said use only if
power cable is supplied. It was not supplied. I went out a bought a Y
splitter powered the card and it works.

New question. Can this system run the old PCI card also for dual
monitor use? I Cannot clone my monitors with the 6800 card as one
monitor needs 1920x1200 and the other is 1600x1200.

Yes the PCI card can power a 2nd display so long as it's
driver and windows get along. If they don't, check for
different video driver.
