looking to do a little upgrade.....is this jump too extreme?

Maybe you should supply the following info:

1) List your system components and monitor in detail.

2) List the games you play, preferred resolution etc.

3) State the budget you have to upgrade your system.

With all that info people can then advise on what might be best for you.

x2 3800 right now 1 g ram

not a lot of games

so just a little up grade
