Yes. Don't buy.
Instead, buy an external hard disk enclosure (USB 2.0 or IEEE) and mount the
hard disk of your choice in the case. You'll save a lot of money.
On top, many external hard disk take their power through the USB and could
destroy your PSU or motherboard due to heavy peak power requirements through
the USB. External (empty) enclosures are always delivered with separate
power supply.
