Default Reomte control PC

I built a shuttle based system as a living room PC last year. Everything is
great, but I wan't to know where I can buy a remote control device and
reciver for it - I'm fed up with the wireless mouse and want to complete the
'look' ! I believe the motherboard has a connector for IR, but where can you
buy a plug in sensor and what remote do I use?

That connector is probably IRDA. But that's a COM: replacement,
not a remote control.

You may find some hobby projects to modify IRDA for remote
control, but don't expect anything standard.

(And if you happen to find something that actually works, please
do not hesitate to let us know :-)

Those remote controls that come with ATI video cards seem to work
pretty well.
