Default Repalcement for Soundstream 5260 DSL modem?

Our 5260 is dying. Locks up-all indicators solid green-and data
transfer stops. Turning off then on revives it for a while. This
seems to happen much more at night, for some reason.

It is for Sprint (now Embarq) service, part # 060-5660-004.

I'm looking for a brand name replacement for this unit. There are
quite a few 5620s on E-bay, but I'd like to get go with something
else.

We have the newer Xyxel 645M plus modem later supplied by sprint, but
it will not allow connection to 2 machines through our Netgear DS104
hub.

(I accidentally cross-posted this to can.internet.highspeed.)
Suggestions?
Dave H

Since you have a working modem, get a router to share the
connections. Having the router is the preferred
configuration even if you had a different modem.

Thanks Kony---Yes, I think that is the best way to go.
