Default Replacing CD drive in Dell Dimension

Hi dudes

I bought a new combo drive for my Dell Dimension 2400 but I don't know
how to get the old drive out! The opening at the front of the case looks
slightly narrower than the face of the drive, and there's no way it'll
fit out the back because there's only about 2 inches between the drive
and the metal holder for the PSU.

Maybe the front comes off but I don't see how and I wouldn't want to
force it in case I break something.

Any Dimension owners out there who know what to do?

I don't know about the 2400, but we have Dell 4100 and I mess with them
constantly. The front cover on these come off with three tabs on the
left side after you remove the left side cover. These are as if you
are looking from the front.

Hi guys

Thanks a lot. There was a couple of clips on the inside of the case as
badgolferman said.

Couldn't believe the amount of dust in there!
