Default Robotics PC Card Modem

My Dell laptop has a PCMCIA slot in which I inserted a US Robotics
'Megahertz 33.6 PC Card Modem' which I assume should provide wireless
connect with my wireless router. When I plug it in to the slot, I
get two beeps, but I see no indication that it is recognized - even in
Device Manager. Should I? Where? Or do I need to install drivers
first?

I see they can be downloaded.

Thank you

RR

It's a MODEM, not a wireless adapter!
