Default SATA drive

Hi. I have my SATA drive connected to SATA0 on the motherboard. Why is it if
I move it to another SATA port I get NTLDR not found error?

Likely because the 2K or XP boot is being done off that drive
intially and when its moved, the relatively crude detection of
where NTLDR is coming from fails once its moved.
