"Araldite, 2 part epoxy resin"

Yes that would work but it would make a permanent connection.
I need to unplug & change ..
I suppose I could Araldite just the connection on the drive which
seems to be the
loosest .
Is there available better in this respect cables ?
Mouse

Sorry Mouse, but I don`t use SATA, but I`m betting the
cables come in different qualities.
I thought the problem was on the drive itself, `cos I`ve
heard they`re pretty flimsy.

You can get cables with metal clips now - I'm not sure if these engage with
all sockets, but on the mobo I tried, it formed a positive connection that
wouldn't fall off.

If using glue, I'd use a blob from a hot glue gun (carefully) - you can get
that stuff off plastic fairly easily if needs be.

Cheers

Tim

Some of them seat better when flipped end to end. Try that before the
glue. It's easier.
