Default Sharing bandwidth through router

Hello I have a new Linksys BEFSR41 with 2 computers connected to it. My
question is, is it possible to split the avalible bandwith down the middle
so each computer gets half and half and no more? I've looked in the options
and settings for QoS but I'm not sure if it can do what I want. thanks

I had the same problem and my router definitely didnt offer any kind
of bandwidth control so I ended up getting a program called BWMeter
http://www.desksoft.com/BWMeter.htm it works a treat.

Consumer model routers are NOT capable of what you ask. And, yes, I own the
same router you do.
