Seems like a waste, I'm always wanting longer battery life
on my notebook, not more gaming performance.

Yeah right...5.4Kg with battery
MY has about 1.73kg with the battery included. That's not a laptop, it's
a semy computer for a truck drivers. It has durability, i agree!
200gb...mmm ah my Lord, it's more open to errors than 40Gb
harddrives...the experts say it's no good...

That is a desktop replacement system and not a notebook as it too
bulky.
I am fond of such powerful but portable toys and I have an aging one
that I would want to retire and would replace it with a quad core
powered version soon
BTW that product mentioned by the OP just looks like i an extreme
example of dual core.

Not quite sure why it costs so much even for that spec, although I'll admit
I've never seen a RAID 5 in a laptop before.

However, it might at least stand a fighting chance of feeling nippy even
when running Vista (grin).
