Default For those like me who havent kept up with the dual processor compatible MBs theres an article at Anandtech

The list they have there is from the end of June. They say
theoretically all it takes is a bios upgrade but who knows if all of
them will work. Interestingly enough my board the Chaintech VNF4 Ultra
which is one of the cheaper boards out there is listed as dual core
compatible with the latest bios.
