u s b orts ot working

I have a Dell 1150 laptop. did a restore and now the usb ports dont
work. I tried to undo the restore but it still wont work. I tried
reformatt and still nothing. Please help.

What OS are you running?

If XP you need service pack 2 instgalled, if win2000, install service
pack 4. Then navigate to the device manager, and remove the usb device
with the yellow question mark. Restart the computer.


Also, you want to install the chipset.
