Video cards with free drivers

Hi, are there currently any graphics cards with open source drivers? I
am aiming at hardware that will support OpenGL 3 when it's released. I
know Radeon drivers are in development, but don't know what GeForce
perspectives are.

I want to buy a new motherboard and so considering whether to buy a
video card or stay with embedded Intel graphics for now. I need power
just for 3D modeling software and HD video. GMA 3100 should provide
that, right? Power for some latest games would be nice, but I'm not
willing to buy a card that won't run properly in Linux.

Are there already any free drivers?
