Default What's the mistery about 3com 3C905CX-TXM, PCI ethernet card ?

HI all, still am in that soldering but this card jumped from some
computer i got ...

What's the mistery about this ethernet card...

I have bunch of other cards, ok i admit i see the difference from the
easthetic look as bot intel and 3 com cards(so as some other brand
cards) look solid build and like they will trnasmit the data so
well...

Are there any specific differences beween this card which mostly sells
above 20$ from other LAN PCI cards which prices for refurbished
purchase are from 2$ - 5,6,7$ ???

I can't dissolve the difference in specifications in that they're all
PCI LAN ETHERNET cards 10/100mbps,

are there some hidden things which is revealed when using that much
priced cards, like better solid-proof data transmiting or something
like " i just love them and adore them" ???

what's the catch ?

thnks.

They have drivers for just about any OS (often built-in to the OS), so
you can nearly always make them work without hassle.
That is not always the case for your $2 PCI NIC.
Other than that and the external WOL connector, they are nothing special.
