Default Windows Update

Hi

This is not a new PC, and Windows Update has worked many times in the past.
It's a 3GHz P4 running WinXP-pro SP2.
When I try a Windows Update I get redirected to this page:

http://www.update.microsoft.com/wind...&thankspage=2&

"Thank you for your interest in obtaining updates from our site.
This website is designed to work with Microsoft Windows operating systems
only.
To find updates for Microsoft products that are designed for Macintosh
operating systems, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/mac/. "

Why? I have disabled all firewalls, I don't run Norton, and am using IE7.
I've checked the knowledge base on micorsoft.com, but found nothing.

Ah, problem sorted.
It was related to these keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \
Internet Settings \ 5.0 \ User Agent

and

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \
Internet Settings \ 5.0 \ User Agent

But not in the \5.0\ key.

Don't know why this happened though.
